Debra Gotovac’s Hodgepodge Hocks, ridden by Noe Garcia Jr., was second to Famous Fire Eagle with the day’s third-fastest time of :16.081. The son of Kiss My Hocks was a $30,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale purchase and is trained by Brad Bolen.
The Trotter-Joiner-Flores combination took the ninth training race with Famous Glory Eagle. The One Famous Eagle-sired gelding was timed in :16.090 for the fourth-fastest training race mark.
