Three Times A Ladye Tops Second Day Of Ruidoso Downs Training Races On Tuesday

Three Times A Ladye, owned by 21 Partnership, raced to Tuesday’s top training-race time when she covered 300 yards in :16.007 while taking the 11th and final 300-yard training race.

Three Times A Ladye won the training race by daylight over One Gold Eagle V, who recorded the session’s eighth-fastest mark of :16.192.

A $60,000 Ruidoso Select Sale Yearling purchase, Three Times A Ladye broke slightly outward and found her stride to increase her advantage with J. R. Ramirez aboard.

Three Times A Ladye is trained by Ricardo Armendariz.

The Tres Seis-sired filly is eligible for the trials to the Grade 1, $1-million (est.) Ruidoso Futurity; the Grade 1, $1-million (est.) Rainbow Futurity, and the Grade 1, $3-million (est.) All American Futurity.

Johnny Trotters’s Famous Fire Eagle took the 10th training race in :16.016 for the day’s second-fastest time.

Ridden by James Flores, Famous Fire Eagle had a clear path from the outside post position and easily handled his rivals.

Sired by One Famous Eagle, Famous Fire Eagle is trained by Mike Joiner.

Famous Fire Eagle is eligible for the Ruidoso, Rainbow and All American futurities.

Debra Gotovac’s Hodgepodge Hocks, ridden by Noe Garcia Jr., was second to Famous Fire Eagle with the day’s third-fastest time of :16.081. The son of Kiss My Hocks was a $30,000 Ruidoso Select Yearling Sale purchase and is trained by Brad Bolen.

The Trotter-Joiner-Flores combination took the ninth training race with Famous Glory Eagle. The One Famous Eagle-sired gelding was timed in :16.090 for the fourth-fastest training race mark.
