Live Racing Returns on May 25
Live racing resumes Memorial Day weekend and runs through
Labor Day with the running of the All American Futurity, the world’s
richest quarter horse race. Simulcast wagering from tracks from
New Mexico and around the country is also available daily in Billy's
Race Book, located next to Billy the Kid Casino. The premier sporting
events are televised in Billy’s Sports Bar.
Billy's Seafood Buffet is big on Wednesday night
All-you-can-eat crab legs, shrimp cocktail, shrimp diablo,
popcorn shrimp, fried catfish, baked trout and grilled salmon
with soup and salad bar. On Wednesday at 5 p.m.
Training races for two-year-olds return on May 7-9
The very popular training races for two-year-old quarter horses
return on May 7-9 with a first post time of 8:30 a.m. each day.
The races will be at 300 yards and there will be a maximum of six
horses in each race. There will be 18 minutes between each race.
Entries deadline is 11 a.m. on May 3 and there is a $50 entry fee
for each horse (checks or cash only). For overnights click here.
