PETS ARE NOT ALLOWED at Ruidoso Downs. Only trained service animals are permitted inside the gates.
For the safety of our horses, service animals will not be permitted inside the paddock or on the racetrack.
We kindly ask that you do not bring your own food or drink into the track enclosure at Ruidoso Downs.
Food and drink are available for purchase on-site. Hip flasks are not permitted. If you need to bring food on site for a medical reason, then please do contact us.
Please note that all bags are subject to inspection at the Admission Gate.
Handbags and backpacks (of an appropriate size for a day out) will be allowed into the enclosures. Large bags such as suitcases, holdalls, and larger backpacks will not be granted entry. An exception will be made for essential medical items upon approval.
Alcohol, coolers, grills, tents, umbrellas, umbrella chairs, selfie sticks, and drones are not permitted inside the track enclosure.
Guests may bring strollers, diaper bags, camera bags, and personal items at staff discretion.
Ruidoso Downs Race Track is accessible to patrons with disabilities.

Firearms and weapons are not allowed within the race track enclosure.
New Mexico prohibits the carrying of firearms in an establishment licensed to dispense alcoholic beverages.
