COWBOY CHANNEL TO PRESENT ALL AMERICAN FUTURITY
Ruidoso Downs Race Track Partners with Cowboy Channel to Present All American Futurity
Nationwide coverage of the $3 million All American Futurity can be seen on the Cowboy Channel on Labor Day, September 5, from Ruidoso Downs Race Track or online at www.cowboychannelplus.com.
The Cowboy Channel will air an hour-long broadcast of the All American Derby and Oaks on Sunday, and the All American Futurity on Monday. The broadcast will begin at approximately 4 p.m. mountain time with the race scheduled for 5:15 p.m.
“This race means so much to so many viewers,” host and show producer Tom Dawson said. “Anyone involved in equine sports has heard of the All American at Ruidoso Downs on Labor Day and we’re very grateful to the Cowboy Channel for providing the coverage of these legendary races.”
Sponsorship of the All American Futurity and this year’s coverage of the triple crown races is provided by Codigo Tequila.
The program will feature the races live on air, plus, tell many stories associated with this year’s All American Futurity lineup.
“Each horse has an interesting backstory that will be part of the broadcast that we hope viewers will find interesting,” Dawson said. “The All American has a history itself as the one race each year that horsemen dream of winning. It has a national appeal and we’re very pleased to be presenting it on Labor Day.”
Ruidoso Downs has been running the All American Futurity since 1959. The race is for two-year-old quarter horses running 440 yards.
