Pour Me A Drinkk Records Top Time In Mountain Top Derby Trials

TUESDAY, JUNE 2

(Albuquerque, NM) Pour Me A Drinkk, a three-year-old gelding, broke sharply and led throughout the fourth race of the $180,000 Mountain Top Derby trials for New Mexico-bred quarter horses today at the Downs of Albuquerque. The time for the 350-yards was fastest of the day, 17.012 seconds.

The gelding was ridden by Oscar Andrade Jr. and trained by Gerald Marr for owners Bob McClure and Sandra Barrett. He is sired by Prospect To The Top out of the mare First Cowgirl Flash (First Moonflash).

Pour Me A Drinkk has won five races in nine career starts, including a win in the New Mexico Classic Futurity at Zia Park last November.
